• Apprenticeship duration is 3 years (full time) and 6 years (part time)

Government funding available for the full qualification under the User Choice 2010-2015 Program (subject to candidate eligibility). Student Contribution Fees of $1.60 per nominal hour applies. For more information on User Choice please refer to

Alternatively, students may be able to pursue appropriate employment or explore further study options.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is the assessment process for recognizing competencies gained through previous learning, work and life experiences. Students need to apply for RPL before their enrolment.
In order to be granted RPL, students will need to provide evidence that they are already competent in this/these specific unit or units and these evidences must be valid, authentic, current and sufficient.
