Certificate III in Aged care - CHC30212


This qualification provides the necessary skills and knowledge for workers primarily in residential facilities who: carry out activities to maintain personal care and/or other activities of living for people in an aged care setting; carry out activities related to an individualised plan and; report directly to a supervisor and are not responsible for other workers.
The Certificate III in Aged Care qualification is targeted to either those who are seeking work or those who are currently employed in this role in the aged care sector.
 
JOB ROLES

This qualification addresses work primarily in residential facilities under direct or regular supervision within clearly defined organisation guidelines and service plans.
These workers:
•    Carry out activities to maintain personal care and/or other activities of living for people in an aged care setting
•    Carry out activities related to an individualised plan
•    Report directly to a supervisor and are not responsible for other workers

QUALIFICATION RULES
The CHC30212  Certificate III in Aged Care comprises of fourteen (14) units of competency. Competency must be achieved in 10 core units and 4 elective units plus 140 hours of vocational placement
