Certificate III in Automotive Sales (Parts Interpreting) - AUR31012

This qualification covers the skills and knowledge required to perform sales-related tasks in the automotive retail, service or repair industry. Parts interpreters provide parts for cars, trucks, vans, trailers and agricultural, industrial and marine equipment or specialise in one make of vehicle. This course will introduce you to the skills needed in this work, such as the sale, stock control and administration in relation to automotive replacement parts such as engine, brake and transmission components, cargo barriers, headlights and tyres and accessories such as seat covers, tow bars and car cleaning equipment.


The Certificate III in Automotive Sales prepares new employees or recognises and develops existing workers who are performing general sales and marketing functions in an automotive retail, service or repair business. Job roles related to this qualification include:

• Motorcycle Salesperson

This is a Nationally Recognised course within the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
