Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology - AUR20512


This qualification covers the skills and knowledge required to perform a range of servicing operations on light vehicles, heavy vehicles and/or motorcycles within an automotive service or repair business.
 
JOB ROLES

The Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology is intended to prepare new employees or recognise and develop existing workers who are performing servicing and maintenance of vehicles in an automotive service or repair business. Employment outcomes targeted by this qualification include: automotive serviceperson.
 
ACCREDITATION

This is a Nationally Recognized course within the AQF (Australian Quality Framework).

QUALIFICATION RULES AND UNITS OF COMPETENCY
To be awarded this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in 20 units of competency, consisting of 13 core units  plus 7 elective units. The following list of units of competency have been selected as being an appropriate combination that can provide valid, reliable, fair and flexible assessment and is deemed suitable for industry required outcomes:
